Metalcore Dropouts' Second Leg With Fit For A King And The Devil Wears Prada

Sage Kiely Feb 27, 2024

Starting off the night strong was Fit For A King – a metalcore band formed in 2007 in Tyler, Texas. The band played an amazing 14-song set, including songs "Shattered Glass," "Pissed Off," and "Vendetta," which are also my personal favorites. The crowd was full of pure energy; pits opened for each song, and people consistently flew over the crowd and surfed towards the stage. Fit For A King definitly set the energy bar high for The Devil Wears Prada.

Closing out the night was the amazing The Devil Wears Prada – another metalcore band formed in Dayton, Ohio. The band played a 13-song set including songs "Chemical," "Broken" and my all time favorite, "Salt." Vocalist Mike Hranica had an outstanding stage presence, which made capturing his movement insanely fun. His energy radiated into the crowd with their non-stop movement as well. The Devil Wears Prada couldn't have put on a more amazing set; I hope to have the opportunity to photograph them again next time they come around!

Keep up with Fit For A King here, and The Devil Wears Prada here.
